Simdean awarded major contract for Scottish renewable energy plant
Simdean have been awarded a contract to design and build an odour control system for an AD plant to be located in Peterhead, Scotland. The system is capable of treating a total of approximately 12,000 m3/h of contaminated air and will constitute a disposable filter housing followed by a carbon adsorber for removal of odorous components of the air prior to exhaust to atmosphere.
The system incorporates a range of inlet ducting combining both general building ventilation and direct process equipment extraction. Simdean will be responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of the system which is due for delivery in September 2016.
