Simdean Group have successfully surveyed, designed, installed and commissioned a new carbon adsorption system at a large food processing plant situated in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland who had problems with airborne cooking odours polluting the local neighbourhood, thus generating complaints.
Simdean Group developed a large carbon adsorber system, powered by a fan unit via a fresh air mixing chamber and system of ductwork to get the air pollution situation under control. The whole system is controlled by a PLC system and automatic dampers meaning it requires little day to day manpower for the client.
Simdean also included a built-in facility to enable ongoing odour monitoring. This allows the client to determine the most cost-effective time to conduct maintenance on the system and ensures local residents are consistently protected for the future.
